Voya expands US portfolio with new nature-inspired spa partnership in Michigan

Sustainable Irish marine wellbeing brand Voya has been named the exclusive supplier of the new Foundation Mind and Body Spa at The Harbor Grand Hotel in New Buffalo, Michigan.
Designed in collaboration with Chicago-based design collective, Curioso, the 1,490sq ft waterfront spa’s theme takes inspiration from the nature surrounding it.
The spa menu was developed alongside Voya and includes treatments designed to blend purpose and place.
Used in Foundation’s body wraps, Voya’s antioxidant-rich laminaria digitata helps to hydrate, purify and detoxify. Voya oils add a sensory treat to Foundation massages and, in combination with the company’s organic antioxidant algae complex, enhance the restorative action of Foundation facials.
In keeping with the boutique hotel’s sophisticated take on lake style, the spa’s interiors echo the area’s coastal ecology with soothing colours and textures.
Facilities include four treatment rooms, a harbour view relaxation lounge, a saltwater pool, a Jacuzzi and thoughtfully accessorized changing rooms.

“Voya’s ethically harvested, and scientifically-proven marine botanicals harness the healing properties of nature to enhance and sustain wellbeing, which makes our partnership with Foundation Spa at Harbor Grand so impressive.”
Foundation Spa director, Jonathon Richards, adds: “We worked closely to incorporate Voya products into our service offerings as a way to deliver a truly unique waterfront experience for our guests.
