Crown Sports Lockers creates bespoke locker solutions for the hotel and spa industry and has previously worked with St Micahel's Spa & Resort in Cornwall (pictured)
To celebrate its ninth year at the Independent Hotel Show (IHS) Crown Sports Locker will launch a waterproof locker that will open the door to facilities demanding a sustainable solution for wet changing areas.
The company, which has more than 25 years’ experience creating bespoke fitouts for the hotel, spa, hospitality, fitness, sport and leisure industries, will debut the innovation at the show. It features a waterproof locker carcass constructed from recycled plastic and antibacterial agent preventing MRSA and E-coli growth.
Spencer Grimwood, project manager at Crown, said: "We’ve been developing the product for some time and eagerly anticipate its impact at the show."
“The advance will allow us to combine the natural appeal of timber lockers and ancillary furniture fitted in spa treatment rooms, with changing facilities that wish to enhance hygiene while meeting mounting demand for environmentally green solutions.”
The made-in-Britain manufacturer uses sustainably-sourced timber to deliver stylish, made-to-measure facilities meeting modern needs for comfortable, secure, brand-building elements of an operator’s offering.
The hotel sector forms an increasingly important marketplace for Crown, who have fitted out changing facilities throughout national operator Village Hotels’ estate, including its latest compact footprint builds at Portsmouth and Bristol.
Many independents choose Crown for its ability to create characterful changing room interiors that match clients’ brand values and vision.
Recent projects include Saunton Sands Hotel, St Michael's Spa and Resort, Woolacombe Bay Hotel and Imperial Hotel, Torquay.
At IHS 2018, Crown unveiled the in-locker mobile device charger as an industry first finding ready application across hotels and leisure.
With textured finishes to suit every decor, application and budget, Crown provides a dedicated project manager to partner clients from first meeting to handover.
