Packaging manufacturer, Huhtamaki has added to its range of takeaway disposable food packaging with the introduction of a range of moulded-fibre hinged food containers.
Ideal for operators serving both hot and cold fast food, the structure of the new containers combines special ribbing for improved strength with an innovative fibre construction which helps prolong the freshness of the contents and prevent it becoming soggy.
The product also features a dual, quick-lock tab closure for easy locking and spill prevention.
Available in a range of sizes to suit a variety of foods, the new containers come in small, large and extra large; as well as in square and rectangular sizes. There is also a 3-compartment hinged version, ideal for operators looking to present a full mealtime offer such as a main dish with side orders.
The containers are stackable and can be placed in a microwave if consumers wish to reheat their food.
