The system does not need a signal like a mobile phone and, once purchased, there are no more costs involved.
Depending on the terrain and atmospheric conditions, the radios have a range of up to 5km, feature automatic voice transmission and have a 4.5v dc battery which will provide over 21 hours of continuous use.
The specification also includes 304 channel settings, backlit display, key lock and key tone, auto power off and last channel memory retention.
The TP329 is shock and weather resistant, small enough to fit in a pocket, backpack or handbag and comes as either a Basic Twin Pack or a Twin or Quad Pack with Charger.
