Stadium screen and broadcast specialists, ADI.tv, have launched Live Venue.
Billed as the 'cloud computing' of stadium screen management, it does away with the requirement for a broadcast studio at football clubs, with ADI instead managing and delivering content to screens via high speed fibre optic links from their central European Operations Centre.
The development brings cost savings in a number of areas - including equipment, training and staffing - but also ensures a future-proof solution for the club, as their equipment never goes out of date.
Dedicated high speed fibre optic links enable ADI to receive live match coverage from the stadium, mix it with other content and send it back to the stadium screens in real time.
ADI CEO Geraint Williams said: "We can manage every screen in the stadium, be it the giant LED screens, perimeter advertising and scoreboards, or the hundreds of LCD panels in hospitality and concourse areas - all featuring bespoke, multi-zoned programming."
The new system has already been rolled out at Goodison Park, with a further three clubs already signed up to Live Venue for the 2012-13 season.
Further details on Live Venue are available on a new dedicated website - www.livevenue.tv
