Stowmarket Golf Club in Suffolk, UK has taken delivery of a new Trilo SG400 vacuum collector with optional Scarifier.
Local dealer Tomlinson's supplied the equipment, with The Grass Group being Trilo's UK distributor.
Head greenkeeper Matt Gill said that thus far he has been extremely impressed with the SG400, which has replaced two machines - a separate flail collector and a scarifier.
The parkland course features many mature trees and for leaf clearance the machine's wander hose is used around the course, clubhouse and car parks. The Scarifier has so far been used to treat seven of the club's fairways.
Changing from flail collecting to scarification is achieved by altering the gearing and swapping the 1.5m heads.
The club also believes that machine's versatility means it can do even more jobs and is planning to use it to cut and collect long rough on an annual basis, which its previous machines couldn't do.
