Sommerhuber has announced one of its latest projects, spa ceramics in a large wellness area at the hotel Julien in the French Alsace.
The company has installed heat storage ceramics at the new spa’s steam bath, soft ceramic seats at the traditional hamam as well as an ergonomic heated seat with a ceramic foot basin.
“Our large-surfaced modern spa ceramics and the positive effect of the ceramic radiant heat to the human organism are received extremely well and the benefits compared to conventional tiles and mosaics are highly esteemed. The surfaces of our ceramics are pleasantly velvety,” said company owner Christian Sommerhuber.
He added that because of the “large-surfaced construction” of the spa ceramics, there is only a small percentage of joints, and so the overall construction meets “the highest hygienic requirements”.
Supplier: Sommerhuber GmbH SteyrAustria Owned by the Sommerhuber family, Sommerhuber Ceramic Manufactory combines the advantages of traditional ceramic tile manufacturing with modern living. Following research and intensive technological developments, the company established a range of ceramics for spas beginning in 2006.
Sommerhuber specialises in the manufacturing of heat-storing ceramics for private and public spas. Sommerhuber’s product range includes seats and benches for wet and dry rooms, heated loungers, hamam tables, ceramic foot basins, healing clay spas and wall ceramics.
