Privately-owned Turfmech began life as a provider of contract turf maintenance services before becoming a distributor of mowers, blowers and turf vacuums. From those early days, Turfmech Machinery has developed into a major equipment producer in its own right, manufacturing, marketing and supporting a product range specified and used by turf growers, groundsmen, course managers, greenkeepers, contractors and turf and grounds maintenance professionals throughout the British Isles and overseas. In 2007 the company acquired Allett Mowers.
